A few summers ago, I was pushed by my salsa instructor to venture out to New York City to take salsa lessons from some of the best salsa dancers in the world. He wanted me to get out of my comfort zone and experience something that was just a 40-minute drive from where we were in CT. I was hesitant at first but then decided to go into New York to try it out.
